Technical Requirements and List of Compatible Equipment

Before paying, check that your equipment meets these requirements. The list of compatible equipment contains the models with which Danger Drones Lab has tested the firmware. This English translation is for reference; in case of discrepancies the Ukrainian version prevails.
Board
- ESP32-C3 microcontroller, 4 MB flash.
- After the first flashing through the Site, on the first start, the board irreversibly enables the firmware protection (Secure Boot and flash encryption) — for both Smart VTX Control and Smart VRX Control. After that only Danger Drones Lab firmware can be written to the board, and USB re-flashing is no longer possible — the firmware is updated wirelessly.
Computer for flashing
- A computer (not a phone) with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Opera — the web flasher uses Web Serial; Firefox and Safari do not support it.
- A USB data cable (a charge-only cable will not see the board).
- Internet access during flashing.

The firmware may work with other VTX models that support SmartAudio or Tramp, but this is not guaranteed.
